This accredited eLearning course provides participants with a thorough grounding in PRINCE2. Written by skilled lecturers with extensive experience in the practical application of project management, the course includes support and examination practice during the eLearning experience.
Viewing the PRINCE2 Foundation eLearning product and attempting all the exercises that we recommend will take approximately 8 – 10 hours with some additional reading. Throughout the online tutor also provides references for recommended reading and as everyone learns at different paces, this study duration is guidance only – but that is not to say you can’t do it as many times as you like within your twelve month period.
Upon booking their course, candidates will receive a Unique Access Key (UAK) and receive their course material to begin the programme. Candidates will be able to use our own on-line tests and will be able to test what has been learnt and review recorded scores. During this period the candidate will have access to the QA subject matter expert by email. Upon successful completion of the on-line test the candidate take the foundation exam and upon successul completion will attend a classroom-based Practitioner course below.

The Practitioner is the second of the two PRINCE2 examinations you are required to pass to become a PRINCE2 Practitioner. This is a three-day course for those who have already passed the PRINCE2 Foundation exam.
To attend this course you must have already passed PRINCE2 Foundation exam.
If you have already attended the PRINCE2 Foundation please take approx 20 hours of time to look through your PRINCE2 Foundation materials before attending, so that you are fully prepared to have the best chance of passing the examination.

The PRINCE2 Practitioner examination takes place at 14:00 on day four.
The PRINCE2 Practitioner exam consists of:
8 questions, each worth 10 marks each. Total of 80 marks
‘Objective Test Examination’ format – a style of complex multiple-choice examination.

You may use your official PRINCE2 manual: ‘Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2’ only
Candidates require a minimum of 44 marks (55%) to pass
By successfully passing your Practitioner exam, you attain ‘Registered Practitioner’ status which is recognition of knowledge, competency in the PRINCE2 methodology, and commitment to continuing professional development.
Please note: You must bring signed photo ID with you on any APMG exam (passport, driving licence, student card) as you will be asked to produce it by the invigilator prior to the exam. You must also be familiar with the APMG-International Terms and Conditions of Certification which can be found here on the APMG-International website.

Course Outline.
Three days of classroom training split into two modules:
Days 1, 2 and Day 3 (Morning) – Experienced tutor support on the application and tailoring of the method leading to the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam. Your PRINCE2 Practitioner exam will be taken on the morning of Day 3
Day 3 (Afternoon) – Leading and Managing Projects using PRINCE2 – teaching you skills that the PRINCE2 syllabus doesn’t cover
Delivered by fully accredited trainers and industry leading experts with extensive experience of using PRINCE2, the course uses QA’s unique multimedia case studies and accelerated learning techniques to ensure that theory is embedded and you feel confident in the practical application of PRINCE2.
Additional work will be required during evenings consisting of consolidation reading, mock examination questions and exercises. This evening work is an integral part of the course and you should expect to spend 2 hours each evening on these activities.
